My home is located on a ¾ mile long beautiful stretch of white sandy beachfront. You literally step out the home’s gated pool area onto the beach! This is a very private home where only 5 other houses are located on the entire Playa Ventana Beach. The home has 4 very large in-suite bedrooms (3 queen beds and two twin beds, walk-in closets, and showers), a fully appointed kitchen, large dining room for eight and a very comfortable, relaxing and open living room space area looking upon the swimming pool where one can see and hear the crash of the ocean’s waves! Local and US phones, and WiFi are available. My home has a live-on-site caretaker who attends to all maintenance and upkeep of the house and property.
Even though my home is private, it is located near a variety of local Playa Grande restaurants and nightlife such as: Las Tortugas, Taco Star, Rip Jack Inn Restaurant, Hotel La Marejada Restaurant, MarBar at Playa Grande Inn, Playa Grande Park Hotel Restaurant, Kikes Bar & Restaurant, El Huerto, Café del Pueblo, The Great Waltini’s at Hotel Bula Bula, and Seven Cave Bar & Grill just to name a few. You can also take an estuary water taxi or tour from Hotel Bula Bula to the town of Tamarindo for shopping (clothing, flip-flops, groceries, artwork, and jewelry) plus dining so as to experience that local Costa Rican flavor!
My home is conveniently located 45 minutes via car from the Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport (LIR) http://www.liberiacostaricaairport.net/. As well, you are minutes away from other charming Gold Coast towns of Guanacaste such as Brasilito, Playa Conchal, Playa Flamingo, Sugar Beach, and Las Catalinas. A private chef can also be arranged for an intimate dinner or if you want to host a party/event. There is even a full-service medical/dental/pharmacy clinic in a neighboring town of Huacas.
There are many activities for the on-the-go person as well as activities for those who choose a more laid-back relaxing stay. Playa Grande is one of the best surfing beaches in the entire country of Costa Rica. There is a marina in Playa Flamingo should you desire sunset sailing, in-shore & off-shore fishing, snorkeling, deep sea diving or just a relaxing trip around the coves and beaches of this area.
