Long Description

Spread over nearly 7,000 square meters, a luxurious Spa and its Restaurant await clients, nestled in nature amidst towering ancient trees. At the heart of this complex, consisting of 5 “Cabins” with no less than 12 massage beds or aesthetic care stations, lies a sublime pool and a spacious, comfortable, and airy restaurant. A bistronomic restaurant, exclusively reserved for Spa clients or their guests until 5 p.m., ensuring tranquility and indulgence. An authentic FINNISH SAUNA, accommodating up to 6 people, is available to guests facing the pool, along with a superb air-conditioned room suitable for yoga classes or VIP meals, despite high temperatures. In the testing phase, the Bed & Breakfast program has begun with the construction of a magnificent SIBOU B & B Cabin, the first of a series of 4 or 5 “Cabins” intended for B&B rental. Our motto: “Simply with Nature.”

THE DAY SPA:

Permanently offers a relaxed yet refined atmosphere where comfort meets sophistication, providing the perfect retreat for those seeking a blend of casual elegance and modern convenience. 12 massage beds spread across 4 “Cabins” (including 1 with access for persons with reduced mobility) allow daily group accommodations for up to 24 people. SIBOU Spa has been ranked No. 1 out of 47 Spas and Wellness centers in Tamarindo by TRIPADVISOR for many months and has also received a Google rating of 4.9/5 with 199 reviews.

THE SPA CABINS:

To avoid disrupting flows during heavy rains and reduce seismic risks, all “Cabins” have a base of entirely metal structure, covered with local wood and a waterproof roof topped with palm fronds provided and installed by local artisans. They consist of: – A space accommodating 2 to 4 massage beds (totaling 12 persons per service), a wall fountain, fans, and open bays overlooking the vegetation. One of them is equipped with an outdoor bathtub. – A fully equipped private bathroom. – A large teak terrace. – An additional bungalow and its small terrace serve as a reception and welcome area for clients.

THE RESTAURANT:

Perfectly equipped and beautifully decorated, the restaurant is integrated into the pool area. It consists of: – A roofed room (awning style) – A teak deck surrounding the pool and capable of accommodating several dozen clients. – A versatile enclosed and air-conditioned room, serving as a Yoga room (capacity 10 people) or dining area on windy days or for VIP requests. – A beautiful BBQ area with wood fire and plancha. – Restrooms comprising Ladies/Men/WC for persons with reduced mobility. IMPORTANT: This restaurant, initially intended to operate in the evenings, is equipped with very nice lighting (as well as the entire garden), making it a magical place both day and night.

THE POOL:

Measuring 12m x 5m, it was constructed using traditional masonry, covered with a “Tartan” type coating, and filtered by a system providing saltwater. Its surroundings consist of local teak decking and tiling, accommodating more than 10 beach beds, all within lush vegetation.

THE SAUNA:

A true Finnish sauna, it can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. It can reach up to 90°C and generate steam by simply adding water.

B & B PROJECT:

Externally identical to the Spa cabins, the B&B cabins feature a solid metal structure with fully waterproof and perfectly insulated walls. They are fitted with European-standard glass windows and sliding mosquito screens, and equipped with both air conditioning and fans. Depending on the chosen management concept, each terrace may be equipped with a kitchenette.

!! The second B&B cabin is currently under construction and scheduled for delivery by the end of February 2026.

The existing permit allows for the construction of up to three additional cabins of the same type, offering excellent expansion potential.

ADVANTAGES OF SUCH A PROGRAM:

1) The client will reside in a luxurious and unique environment, secured during the day by the Spa staff and at night by a permanent Guardian, with access to the restaurant and pool. 2) Operating costs will increase by only one half-time salary (cleaning lady), as the current staff can manage all additional tasks, maximizing the profitability of these rentals.

THE STAFF:

The management is perfectly trained in the methods implemented by the owner and ensures optimal operation of the Spa and Restaurant. The permanent masseuses, numbering 7, all have solid professional training, some having obtained Therapist diplomas. Upon their arrival at SIBOU, they underwent internal training to achieve uniformity in care. Most of them have been here for over 2 years.

LOCATION & GENERAL EQUIPMENT:

– Located just 10 minutes from Tamarindo, only 700 meters from the Tamarindo/Santa Cruz road, SIBOU Spa is close to many popular beaches and just 1 hour from Liberia International Airport. – Private parking for approximately 15 cars. – Water supply ensured by a 2,500-liter reserve, coupled with a pump allowing distribution throughout the property. – Dual electricity meters, to separate the B&B project from the rest of the Spa. – For safety, 2 septic tanks (1 Spa / 1 Restaurant) share the treatment of wastewater.

PROFITABILITY:

Permits and patents are up to date, offering peace of mind for a smooth property transition. After 1 year of launch, hampered by COVID, SIBOU Spa started a strong growth one year later, directly driven by the owner, resulting in a few months of strong growth, reassuring consistency, and very encouraging profitability.

THE ADDED BONUS:

For 3 or 4 months, the bottom of the property is bordered by a Rio that awakens during the rainy season and gives Spa clients a magical extra: a river at the foot of their massage beds.

The Flamingo Beach Resort soon called Margaritaville (opening up end of 2018) has its own casino, and entertainment open to the public and most restaurants and bars have live bands (the Nightclub type of nightlife hot spot remains Tamarindo 20 min away).
