Propertyshelf Developers Save Flamingo South Ridge from Fire

Propertyshelf developers took time off their busy schedule Monday morning and Tuesday to fight a raging fire on the south ridge of Flamingo. The young men heroically fought the fire for hours, equipped with nothing but buckets, garden hoses, rakes, and sheer determination. While over an acre of land burned, all structures, electricity lines and water pipes were unharmed. The dry season in Guanacaste presents dangerous fire conditions. Report any fires to the Filadelfia fire department at (506) 2688-8733.

Complaints arose since the Police simply stood aside and watched, despite calls to lend a helping hand. One neigbhor called it an outrage! Pockets of Fire continue to burn through out the South Ridge but yesterdays fires made it unlikely for the fire to spill over putting the houses in danger. The Entire Flamingo Area is covered in smoke. We urge everyone to stay on alert.
